Loved by kids and adults alike, these fun and flavorsome Chinese bean curd bags are stuffed with a delicious mixture of ham, chicken, shrimp, and Chinese mushroom. Knorr® Chicken Broth Mix, sesame oil, and green onion give an additional flavor boost to the dish. Wrapped in a unique bag style, this classic Chinese recipe is especially loved by young children.

Ingredients
  • 8 pieces square sushi bean curd bags
  • 1/2 cup ham, diced
  • 1 cup chicken thigh, diced
  • 1 cup shrimp, diced
  • 3 Chinese mushroom, soaked and diced
  • 2 stalks green onion, chopped
  • small bunch garlic chives
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of white pepper
  • dash of sesame oil
  • Seasoning Sauce: 3/4 tsp Knorr® Chicken Broth Mix, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tbsp sesame oil, cornstarch solution – 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Directions
1

Put the ham, chicken, shrimp, mushroom, and green onion together in a bowl and mix well.

2

Cut the long green leaves of the garlic chives and then place them in boiling water to blanch. Set aside.

3

Add white pepper, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt to the ham mixture and mix well.

4

Stuff the mixture into sushi bean curd bags. Only fill up half of the bag, then use a garlic chive to tie the top. Repeat until all of the ingredients have been used.

5

With the exception of the starch thickening solution, mix all of the seasoning ingredients in a heated pot and then place the bean curd bags in there, too. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and cook for 8-10 minutes.

6

Remove the bags and plate them up. Mix the starch thickening solution into the sauce, along with a few drops of sesame oil. Pour over the bags and serve fresh.
