Ingredients
  • 18 oz pork jowl
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ginger puree
  • 2-3 drops honey
  • Marinade: 1 1/2 tsp Knorr® Chicken Broth Mix, 2 tsp Knorr® Liquid Seasoning, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp ginger powder, pinch pepper powder, 4-5 drops sesame oil

Begin by mashing the ginger into a puree and mincing your garlic.

Clean the pork jowl, pat dry with a paper towel, and season with the marinade.

Add the ginger puree and garlic to the jowl and marinade mixture, then set aside for 1 hour.

Pre-heat the oven to 400F. On an oven-safe plate, grill the pork jowl for 20 minutes, then turn it over and grill the other side for another 15 minutes.

Brush with honey and bake each side for 5 more minutes, until the pork is fragrant and the sauce thickened.
