These bricks are stuffed with minced meat, vegetables and Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cubes and baked into small, crunchy flavorful bites.

Ingredients
  • For the filling:
  • 1 Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube
  • 200g (7 ounces ) ground beef
  • 150g (5 ounces) peas
  • 150g (5 ounces) carrots, cubed
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Phyllo Dough:
  • 250g (8 ounces) phyllo dough
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • For the flour paste:
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons water
Directions
1

To prepare the rice, put a large pan over medium heat, add the olive oil and butter and cook the chicken thighs from each side until golden brown. Remove from the heat and set aside.

2

In another large pot over medium heat, add the olive oil, butter, onion, and garlic. Cook and stir for 3 minutes until soft. Make sure not to burn it.

3

Add the paprika, chili powder, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder, veggies, and the rice. Continue cooking all together for 5 minutes, stirring from time to time so the rice doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot.

4

To finalize the rice and chicken cooking, add the water and Knorr Halal Chicken Bouillon Cube in a large saucepan and bring to a boil until the bouillon cube completely dissolves and you obtain a nice broth.

5

Pour the broth over the pot, bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cover the pot and cook all together for 25 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked and the rice is tender.

6

Garnish the one pot rice and chicken with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
