Travel to the heart of Morocco and savor an unmissable tagine of meatballs with the savory flavor of Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cubes.
- For the meatballs:
- 300 grams (10.5 ounces) ground meat
- 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- For the sauce:
- 1/2 Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube
- 2 large tomatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 2 garlic cloves, grated
- 1 tablespoon freshly chopped coriander
- 4 fresh thyme sprigs
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 Fresh coriander leaves, for decoration
To prepare the filling, put a large pan over medium heat, add the olive oil, chicken cubes, salt, pepper, paprika, dried chives, and 1/4 Knorr Halal Chicken Bouillon Cube. Cook while stirring constantly for 7 minutes until the chicken is lightly golden brown. Place the cooked chicken in a bowl and set aside.
In the same pan over medium heat, add the olive oil, red and yellow pepper cubes, onion, and chili powder. Cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Add the cooked chicken cubes to the vegetables mixture and continue cooking for 1 minute stirring from time to time until the filling mixture is well combined.
To assemble the quesadilla, put a large pan over medium-low heat, add the butter and heat a tortilla from one side.
Evenly spread 1/2 the amount of grated cheese on top of the tortilla sheet, add an even layer of the chicken mixture and cover it with another layer of grated cheese.
Cover the chicken and cheese layers with another tortilla sheet and cook for one minute.
Gently flip the tortilla to the other side using a spatula and cook for another minute .
Cut the chicken quesadilla into 6 triangles and serve immediately.
