This delicious recipe sees tender chicken cooked in a warming soup and accompanied by wontons for a dish that you can’t get enough of. Ginger and green onion add subtle flavor, while Knorr® Chicken Broth Mix rounds out the dish with a satisfying richness. Quick and easy to prepare, this full-flavored delight is an ideal pick-me-up for when you’re feeling a little down.
Wash and clean your lily bulbs, then set them aside. In a separate bowl, mix the ground pork with wonton seasoning ingredients. Place the filling inside the wonton wrappers and close them. Cook the wonton according to packet instructions and set aside.
Clean the chicken and remove any excess fatty parts. Blanch the chicken whole.
In a different pot, add 10 cups of water, the sliced ginger, green onion, goji berry, and chicken. Sprinkle in 1 tbsp of Knorr® Chicken Broth Mix and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat to medium, cover the pot and cook for 15 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the pot sit for 30 minutes. Then remove the chicken and place it in a large soup bowl.
Add the lily bulbs to the stock pot and bring it back to the boil. Toss in the wontons and continue cooking until they float to the top. Turn off the heat.
Serve by combining wontons, chicken, and the broth in a simple soup bowl.
