Halal Egg-Stuffed Pan Bread

This is an easy recipe for all ages with ingredients available at home. This is an easy-to-prepare snack with eggs, tomatoes and lettuce.

Ingredients
  • 200g (7 ounces) flour
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 15cl (5 ounces) warm water
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped spring onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 lettuce leaves

For the dough, place the flour in a bowl with salt and yeast and add the warm water gradually until the dough is firm. Knead the dough well then let it rest for 10 minutes.

Heat a tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic and a 1/4 Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube in a pan over low heat. Remove the oil mixture from heat and let it cool then add it to the dough and knead well. Form large balls with the dough, flatten them and then cut them into small circles using a glass.

Cook the dough circles in a pan over medium heat on both sides and open them up.

Put the eggs, 2 spoons olive oil, salt, black pepper, spring onion and a 1/4 Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube in a bowl, mix well, then place the mixture in a pan over medium heat and leave it for 5 minutes.

Cut the eggs into small slices the same size as the pan bread. In each pan bread, put a small leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato and a slice of egg.
