
Halal Millet Soup with Fennel

This is a very nutritious soup as the millet contains several healthy nutrients such as iron, copper and phosphorus. All of the ingredients are easy and accessible. By using Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube, the soup becomes even more delicious and worth trying.
Ingredients
- 250g (8.8 ounces) millet
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/2 Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube
- 1 teaspoon fennel
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 80cl (27 ounces) milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2.5l (85 ounces) water
Directions

Put the oil, onion, garlic, half of the Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube, salt and black pepper in a saucepan over low heat and stir for one minute, then add water and bring to a rolling boil.

Add the millet gradually while stirring and let boil for one minute. Then add the fennel, thyme and milk and leave over heat for 5 minutes.

Serve hot. If you would to reheat the soup, add a bit of milk to thin the texture.
