  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 60 grams (1/4 cup) grated cheese
  • 8 spring roll pastry sheets
  • All purpose flour and water mixture to glue the brick
Directions
1

To prepare the chicken filling, put a pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil, butter, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, dried chives, Knorr Halal Chicken Bouillon Cube, and stir for 2 minutes until it becomes soft.

2

Add the chicken ground meat, and stir for 8 minutes until the meat is cooked. Remove the pan from the heat and mix the ground meat in a large bowl. Allow to cool.

3

Add the cooked peas, cream cheese, grated cheese to the chicken ground meat mixture, and mix all together until well combined.

4

To Assemble the chicken brick, place a full teaspoon of the chicken and peas filling mixture in the center of the warka sheet and fold it into a rectangular shape. Glue the edge of warka with some flour and water mixture so the filling will not come out while cooking.

5

Then in a large pan over medium heat, add a little bit of vegetable oil and start frying the chicken brick from both sides for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Alternatively, you can place the the bricks on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake them in a 180°C oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

6

Place the chicken brick on a piece of absorbing paper to remove the oil excess. Serve warm.
