Travel to the heart of Morocco and savor an unmissable tagine of meatballs with the savory flavor of Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cubes.

  • For the meatballs:
  • 300 grams (10.5 ounces) ground meat
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste


  • For the sauce:
  • 1/2 Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube
  • 2 large tomatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped coriander
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 Fresh coriander leaves, for decoration

To prepare the meatballs, in a large bowl, add the ground meat, chopped parsley, garlic powder, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix all together until well combined.
Start forming the ground meat mixture into medium sized balls. Set aside.


To prepare the sauce, put a large pan over medium heat and add the tomatoes, grated onion, garlic cloves, Knorr Halal Beef Bouillon Cube, parsley, fresh thyme, paprika, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Mix all the ingredients together using a wooden spoon until well combined. Cook and stir the tomato sauce for 10 minutes.


Add the meat balls to the sauce, cover the pan and continue cooking for 10 minutes over medium-high heat.


Place the ground meatballs and tomato sauce into a tagine dish, garnish with fresh parsley leaves, and serve immediately.
