The lobster flavor is sealed and cooked in oil, tossed with fragrant shreds of ginger, shallot and green onions, scattered over on a bed of delicious noodles. The sauce is made with Knorr® Chicken Powder and soaks into the noodles giving them an aromatic and fragrant flavor. It’s a great way to celebrate the Lunar New Year!

Ingredients
  • 1 large lobster
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 6 stalks green onion, chopped
  • 2 oz. ginger, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tsp Knorr Chicken Powder
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 4 oz. noodles
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch slurry
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil
Directions
1

Clean the lobster thoroughly. Dust it with corn starch. Heat the oil in a deep pot over high heat and fry the lobster until the shells turn bright red. Remove to a sheet pan to drain.

2

Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat, stir in green onion, ginger and shallots, and cook until fragrant. Add the fried lobster and water, and bring to a boil. Then, add Knorr Chicken Powder and braise until the lobster is cooked through. Remove the lobster from the skillet. Add butter, salt, sugar, and white pepper in the skillet with the remaining broth.

3

Add the noodles and cook until it absorbs the broth for flavor. Transfer the noodles into a serving plate and place the lobster on top.
